This brilliant use of crystal is further enhanced by another precedent; giant programmable hi-res LED walls vibrantly dance with lasers in tempo, penetrating and reflecting in radiant displays of Synesthesia. On the second floor are two expansive terraces – quick places to escape the excitement of Magnum Club’s state of the art sound system for a relaxing drink amongst the sounds and soothing sights of a color-shifting fountain oasis.

Niveles

Levels (2/F, On Hing Building, No.1 On Hing Terrace, Central, Hong Kong) — LEVELS is a new 8,000 square foot partying space in Central that provides customers with state of the art Logic System speakers, first class interior design by J. Candice Interior Architects featuring mood rooms conceptualized as Liquid & Solid, and the largest dance floor in Hong Kong.

The space was acquired in August 2012 by one of Hong Kong’s premium entertainment groups Privé Group. LEVELS was named to represent the next level of the night life industry, as this will be Privé Group’s largest night club to date. The club also features two bars, 18 VIP tables, and an enclosed VIP private room.

Agenda oculta

Hidden Agenda (Live House / 2A Wing Fu Industrial Building / 15 – 17 Tai Yip Street / Kwun Tong, Hong Kong) — local club owners saw a need for an indie rock club in town – one that booked acts too small to fill concert arenas, but would surely overpack a typical bar. Along came “Hidden Agenda”, a 300-person venue which in time booked local and international indie rock bands like Besnard Lakes, San Fran rockers Thee Oh Sees, Russian Circles, Silverstein and PacificUV. Due to higher rents elsewhere, Hidden Agenda is located at an unlikely spot – an industrial building within the Kwun Tong district (a hotbed for local independent rock bands in search of cheap space to practice). While generating positive reviews from both local media and international outlets like CNN, local patrons rave about this venue, simply for the live rock music.
